Minnesota – Northfield

South of Minneapolis-St. Paul is the small town of Northfield.      (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northfield,_Minnesota)

I stayed on organic dairy farmland a few miles away from the city.

Near the house….

The farmer drove this back to the house.  I was surprised to see this large vehicle in the driveway…

At the diary farm (after a big rain)….

Northfield was nice and inviting.

Behind the stores on the main commercial street lies a river (The Cannon River – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannon_River_%28Minnesota%29).
