On Monday, I arrived in Flagler Beach/Palm Coast. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagler_Beach,_Florida)
I’d love to write that I am on my way on a great trip, but sadly, I cannot. My Aunt, who I loved to the moon and back, died. The family was gathering for the funeral on Tuesday morning.
My immediate family and I met at a restaurant on the beach for dinner – to relax after the four hour drive across the state (from south of Tampa). The restaurant had a large patio with great views. Two members of my family use walkers, so it was nice to have a place where they could enjoy the beach without struggling to move in the sand.
I wasn’t expecting to take pictures this trip, but fortunately had my old camera with me. Here are some pictures from the patio…
