Up the Hudson River from Garrison, is the lovely village of Cold Spring. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_Spring,_New_York)
The village has a vibrant, old style main street, lined with small shops and restaurants.
The main street is on a slight hill. At the bottom of the hill are railroad tracks. A tunnel allows walkers to cross to the other side.
My camera caught an interesting picture inside the tunnel. I did nothing special, just shot using automatic with no flash. Yet everything came alive in an orange glow. In reality, the inside of the tunnel is the same color as the entry (above) and just as dark.
On the other side of the tracks is a beautiful waterfront (along the east side of the Hudson River).
